Splash Academy Swim School opened its doors in October 2024, created with a clear purpose: to offer a more personal, high-quality swim experience. Founded by my husband and I, our goal was to build a space where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged every step of the way. At Splash, it’s not about numbers—it’s about making every lesson count.
The kids know me as Teacher D. I’m the proud owner and lead instructor, bringing over 17 years of teaching experience and 23 years of involvement in Gauteng Lifesaving. Teaching is not just my profession—it’s my passion. I genuinely love helping children grow in confidence and skills in the water.
The most rewarding part of this journey is watching the progress each child makes. Seeing their development, from hesitant beginners to strong, capable swimmers, is what makes it all worthwhile.
